Academic collaborations

• Oxford University WildCru
  In 2017, WWCT collaborated with WildCru on a study and resulting publication on projecting influencing factors on leopard island-wide distribution and future viability of leopard presence.

  We are an affiliate project of WildCru as it has supported our overall work of understanding leopard movement and space use. We have made visits for collaboration on work and presenting our work and additionally we had a student based at WildCru Oxford for their diploma program.
   

•  Peradeniya University
  Collaboration with the Veterinary and Science Faculty to assess the campus forests lands.

Corridors for Conservation
 

• Peak Ridge Forest Corridor (PRFC)
  A landmark collaborative effort by WWCT in partnership with 5 Regional Plantation Companies - Dilmah, Bogwanthalawa plantations, Horana plantations, Madulsima plantations, Maskeliya plantations, KelaniyaBreama
  estates. 
   

• Elbedda Ridge Corridor (ERC)
  In partnership with Kelani Valley plantations within the Conservation for Corridors Initiative.

• Olu Tropical Water 
  In 2023, WWCT partnered with Olu Tropical Water, which launched leopard-themed glass bottles to contribute to the Corridors for Conservation Initiative. 
   

• Gal Oya lodge
  Renewed partnership to support logistically WWCTs work in this area.
   

• Resplendent Ceylon
  Continues to host WWCTs Central Highland research station.
